Volunteer Assistance Needed

Forney’s annual Christmas festival, known as Forney’s Hometown Christmas, has traditionally been a community involved smashing success, undoubtedly due to the continuous heartfelt efforts of many volunteer forces.

Many of Forney’s civic and business organizations including the Forney Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, Rotary Club, Garden Club, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, and National Guard Cadets have yearly provided much needed volunteer assistance to ensure that all Forney’s citizens have a safe and fun filled day.

All groups, clubs, churches and organization are cordially invited to participate in the volunteer effort necessary to provide Forney’s Hometown Christmas 2008.

Volunteers are needed in several positions including stage entertainment, security, parade assistance, bounce area monitors, and more.
